Although we have worked with street dogs for years in Port Barton, Street dog sanctuary officially begun at the end of lockdown in April 2020. After spending 6 straight weeks home quarantined (as per the stringent restrictions here), we were shocked at the conditions of the remaining street dogs. Many were missing, but those who remained were sick with skin illnesses, extremely hungry and neglected. The dogs were loved by so many tourists, and with the instant collapse of the tourism industry overnight, this left the dog population fighting to survive. And so our street feeding begun. Today we feed 300 to 400 dogs a day.

We organize with Palawan Animal Welfare foundation, to provide free sterilizations and vaccines for the animals in Port Barton.

Over the years we have treated countless dogs for mange and dealt with ongoing emergency medical situations.

We officially opened the sanctuary in February 2021 where we are able to home, shelter, provide food, love and medical treatments for the most dire street dogs. They are safe in our sanctuary and have a second chance at life.

Attached are a few photos of the animals we have worked with.

Thank you again for your kindness.
With gratitude, Rob and Jacq
